IE He halved the required payments for the income based plans from 20% of “Discretionary Income” to 10%. And if that isn’t enough to cover the interest, the government will be picking up the tab on that interest now instead of it being added to the principal. The quiet, policy wonk shit is what will actually get changes made. He was smart, he used the forgiveness to distract the republicans from what he was actually doing.
